9 Fun and curious Christmas Activities for Kids

The truth about Christmas is that it is a time for kids... Not just little ones, but for every person who is young at heart, along with fun-loving adults. But, for some adults, Christmas loses its charm and excitement, but it's always a happy opportunity to watch the faces of little ones light up. It seems that Christmas becomes more lively for children than their birthday because every person is sharing in the celebration in a way that doesn't happen on their birthday. It's a holiday every person they know is seeing send to.

It adds to the joy of the season when children are included in house activities. Planning activities that will allow their participation will not only delight them, but you will have fun just watching them. These activities will help the children in your house generate treasured memories of Christmas time. They need little to no charge and will help to make everyone's Christmas bright. Here are some of my popular activities that younger children will have fun helping with:

Jigsaw Name Puzzles

1. Write a letter to Santa

Help your youngster write a letter to Santa to tell him what they want most of all for Christmas. Have them consist of their views on either they have been naughty or nice. This can be a lot of fun for the child and for you.

2. Make their own Christmas cards

Buy a holder of card stock and let them make Christmas cards for their friends and house members. If they are too young to use scissors, cut the sheet of card stock in half and fold each half once. Give the children crayons to draw pictures with and non-permanent markers to write a message in their card.

3. Bake Christmas cookies

Both girls and boys like to get in the kitchen and bang pots and pans. Let your children help measure ingredients. If they are too young to do that, let them pour the ingredients into the bowl and teach them to stir and mix the batter. Once the cookie dough is rolled out, let them cut out the cookies and put them on the cookie sheet.

4. Make gift tags

Gather card stock or building paper, crayons and markers and let them generate gift tags to go on presents to be put under the tree for friends and family.

5. Make a Christmas tree ornament

Gather craft items and encourage them to make one Christmas tree adornment each year and hang it on the tree. Take a photograph of the tree with the adornment on it and let them generate an album to keep the photos in. They will appreciate being able to recognize the revision in their hand-crafted ornaments over the years.

6. Decorate a Christmas stocking

Buy a plain Christmas stocking. Obtain craft items which consist of glue and glitter. Let the children decorate their own Christmas stocking and put their name on it. Hang the stockings on the mantle if you have one or near the Christmas tree where it will be easy for Santa to see.

7. Count the days until Christmas

Have a calendar available for children and have them mark off each day while the month of December and have them count the amount of days left until the big day.

8. Work a Christmas theme jigsaw puzzle

Buy a Christmas theme jigsaw puzzle that is standard to their age and let them have fun putting the pieces together. Once the puzzle is worked, you have the selection of taking it apart and letting them do it over, or you can coat it with a clear glaze sealant and frame the puzzle.

9. Join in singing Christmas carols

Everyone, young and old, loves to Obtain together and sing Christmas carols. Encourage your young children to join in this holiday tradition.

Taking time to plan activities that consist of children will increase the enjoyment of Christmas for every person in your household. Be sure to take fullness of photos of the children lively in these activities to retain the memories.
